Com a presença da Rainha IZA, Instituto Imperatriz Leopoldinense realiza ação de Natal para crianças do Complexo do Alemão e Zona da Leopoldina*

_Evento já realizado há mais de 5 anos na Rainha de Ramos promove chegada do Papai Noel e distribuição de 3 mil brinquedos_

O sábado (20) foi de festa na quadra da Imperatriz Leopoldinense, em Ramos, Zona da Leopoldina do Rio. Com a aproximação do Natal, a verde, branco e dourado, por meio de seu instituto, realizou mais um ano de ação solidária às crianças do Complexo do Alemão e toda região.

Com direito à recreação, brincadeiras, pipoca e algodão doce, o “Natal Leopoldinense”, realizado há mais de 5 anos pela presidente da Imperatriz, Catia Drumond, e por João Drumond, vice-presidente da escola e presidente do Instituto, promoveu também às crianças de sua comunidade a tão esperada chegada do Papai Noel, além da distribuição de mais de 3 mil brinquedos.

“A chegada do bom velhinho é sempre um momento muito esperado por todas as crianças que frequentam a Imperatriz. E promover mais essa ação e ver cada sorriso na entrega dos brinquedos é muito gratificante. Esse é o maior presente que a gente recebe: fazer a diferença na vida de cada um dessa comunidade”, afirmou João Drumond.

A ação ainda contou com a participação especial de Rene Silva, idealizador do ‘Voz das Comunidades’, e também da cantora IZA, Rainha de Bateria da escola, que celebrou o tradicional evento.

“Foi uma tarde muito linda, com a quadra florida de crianças e suas famílias, e eu me sinto muito lisonjeada por fazer parte desse momento e da família Imperatriz. Um feliz Natal com muito amor e um próspero ano novo a todos”, disse IZA.

Fundado neste ano e com previsão de inauguração de uma sede própria em janeiro de 2026, ampliando o atendimento aos moradores da Zona da Leopoldina para 5 mil pessoas, o Instituto Imperatriz Leopoldinense é uma entidade sem fins lucrativos, que tem como finalidade única promover cidadania, empatia, oportunidade e amor ao próximo.

Event held for over five years at the Rainha de Ramos venue features Santa Claus’s arrival and the distribution of 3,000 toys
Saturday (20) was a day of celebration at the Imperatriz Leopoldinense samba school hall in Ramos, in Rio de Janeiro’s Leopoldina area. As Christmas approaches, the green, white and gold school, through its institute, once again carried out a charitable initiative for children from the Alemão Complex and the surrounding region.
With recreation, games, popcorn and cotton candy, the “Natal Leopoldinense,” organized for more than five years by Imperatriz president Catia Drumond and João Drumond—vice president of the school and president of the Institute—also brought to the children of the community the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus, in addition to the distribution of more than 3,000 toys.
“The arrival of Santa Claus is always a highly anticipated moment for all the children who attend Imperatriz. Being able to carry out yet another initiative like this and see every smile when the toys are handed out is extremely rewarding. This is the greatest gift we receive: making a difference in the lives of everyone in this community,” said João Drumond.
The initiative also featured the special participation of Rene Silva, founder of Voz das Comunidades, as well as singer IZA, the school’s Queen of the Drums, who celebrated the traditional event.
“It was a beautiful afternoon, with the hall filled with children and their families, and I feel very honored to be part of this moment and of the Imperatriz family. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas filled with love and a prosperous New Year,” said IZA.
Founded this year and with plans to inaugurate its own headquarters in January 2026—expanding services to residents of the Leopoldina area to reach 5,000 people—the Imperatriz Leopoldinense Institute is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to promote citizenship, empathy, opportunity and love for one another.
