Cubango anuncia Polliany Cruz e Andressa Honorato como Musas da Comunidade
A Acadêmicos do Cubango segue fortalecendo seus laços com a comunidade e valorizando trajetórias construídas em seu próprio chão ao anunciar Polliany Cruz e Andressa Honorato como as novas Musas da Comunidade da agremiação.
Criada em solo sambista, Polliany Cruz construiu sua relação com a Cubango de forma natural e apaixonada. O encantamento surgiu ainda jovem, durante um ensaio na Amaral, ao admirar a beleza, a força e a energia das passistas da escola. A partir desse momento, iniciou sua caminhada no projeto, passou pelo teste para a ala e foi aprovada, dando início a uma trajetória marcada por crescimento e amadurecimento dentro e fora do samba.
“Ser passista e filha desse chão me fizeram crescer e amadurecer dentro e fora do samba, e isso não tem preço. Nem nos meus melhores sonhos imaginei que hoje seria sua musa. Representar esse solo de axé, tradição e ancestralidade, e dar continuidade à nossa resistência, é de uma riqueza sem fim”, destaca Polliany, emocionada ao assumir o novo posto.
Já Andressa Honorato retorna à Mais Querida com uma história consolidada e marcada por conquistas. Ex-passista da escola, ela foi eleita Melhor Passista da Série A em 2020, representando a Acadêmicos do Cubango. Nos carnavais seguintes, desfilou como musa dos passistas, levando à Avenida o samba no pé e a identidade desenvolvidos no chão da agremiação.
“Voltar à minha casa, agora sob uma nova perspectiva, é a realização de um sonho antigo e a certeza de um laço eterno. Sou imensamente grata ao presidente Leko, ao diretor artístico Felipe Soares e a toda a comunidade da Cubango, que caminhou comigo, sonhou junto e hoje me acolhe de braços abertos”, afirma Andressa.

Cubango Announces Polliany Cruz and Andressa Honorato as Community Muses
Acadêmicos do Cubango continues to strengthen its ties with the community and to honor journeys built on its own ground by announcing Polliany Cruz and Andressa Honorato as the school’s new Community Muses.
Born and raised on samba soil, Polliany Cruz built her relationship with Cubango in a natural and passionate way. The enchantment began at a young age during a rehearsal on Amaral Street, when she admired the beauty, strength, and energy of the school’s passistas. From that moment on, she began her path within the project, passed the audition for the wing, and was approved, marking the start of a journey defined by growth and maturity both within and beyond samba.
“Being a passista and a daughter of this ground made me grow and mature inside and outside of samba, and that has no price. Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine that today I would be its muse. Representing this soil of axé, tradition, and ancestry, and continuing our resistance, is an immeasurable richness,” Polliany emphasizes, moved as she assumes the new role.
Andressa Honorato, in turn, returns to Mais Querida with a solid history marked by achievements. A former passista of the school, she was elected Best Passista of Série A in 2020, representing Acadêmicos do Cubango. In the following carnivals, she paraded as muse of the passistas, bringing to the Avenue the samba no pé and identity developed on the school’s own ground.
“Returning to my home, now from a new perspective, is the fulfillment of a long-held dream and the certainty of an eternal bond. I am immensely grateful to president Leko, artistic director Felipe Soares, and the entire Cubango community, who walked with me, dreamed together, and today welcomes me with open arms,” says Andressa.
