Prefeitura do Rio entrega revitalização do MAM em cerimônia com primeira-dama Janja Lula da Silva

15h – O prefeito Eduardo Paes entrega a obra de revitalização do Museu de Arte Moderna (MAM Rio), que vai receber a Cúpula do G20. A cerimônia terá a presença da primeira-dama Janja Lula da Silva e do Ministro das Relações Exteriores, Mauro Vieira. O Governo Federal do Brasil assume a gestão do espaço até o fim da conferência. A maior revitalização da região do Parque do Flamengo nos últimos 25 anos abrange mais de 100 mil m², com reformas nas áreas internas do museu e no entorno, incluindo a recomposição do paisagismo de Burle Marx.

Rio City Hall delivers the revitalization of the MAM in a ceremony with First Lady Janja Lula da Silva

3:00 PM – Mayor Eduardo Paes will deliver the revitalization project of the Museum of Modern Art (MAM Rio), which will host the G20 Summit. The ceremony will be attended by First Lady Janja Lula da Silva and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira. The Brazilian Federal Government will take over the management of the venue until the end of the conference. This is the largest revitalization project in the Parque do Flamengo area in the last 25 years, covering over 100,000 m², including renovations of the museum’s interior and surrounding areas, along with the restoration of Burle Marx’s landscaping.
