Ritmistas paraenses reforçam a Bateria da Grande Rio no Carnaval 2025
A bateria da Grande Rio contará com um reforço especial no Carnaval 2025. Três ritmistas paraenses – Lucas Farias (repique), Rafael Alcântara, o Feijão (repique), e Dackson Júnior (caixa) – foram convidados para integrar o time comandado pelo mestre Fafá.
Além deles, artistas do Grupo Aturiá, referência na percussão amazônica, também participarão do desfile. Com essa fusão de ritmos, a bateria da Grande Rio promete um espetáculo marcante na Sapucaí, unindo a tradição do samba às batidas da cultura paraense.
A Tricolor de Caxias levará para a Avenida, no próximo dia 4 de março, o enredo “Pororocas Parawaras, As Águas dos Meus Encantos nas Contas dos Curimbós”. De autoria dos carnavalescos Gabriel Haddad e Leonardo Bora, em parceria com a pesquisadora convidada Rafa Bqueer, o enredo propõe um mergulho nas águas amazônicas e uma jornada mística que mistura palácios, pajelanças, incensos, igarapés, Encantarias e terreiros de Tambor de Mina. Tudo isso perfumado com ervas e conduzido pelo ritmo e pelas letras do Carimbó. A Grande Rio é a terceira escola a desfilar na terça-feira, de carnaval.

Pará Percussionists Strengthen Grande Rio’s Drum Section for Carnival 2025
Grande Rio’s drum section will have a special reinforcement for Carnival 2025. Three percussionists from Pará—Lucas Farias (repique), Rafael Alcântara, known as Feijão (repique), and Dackson Júnior (caixa)—have been invited to join the team led by Mestre Fafá. In addition to them, artists from Grupo Aturiá, a renowned reference in Amazonian percussion, will also take part in the parade. With this fusion of rhythms, Grande Rio’s bateria promises a spectacular performance at Sapucaí, blending the tradition of samba with the beats of Pará’s culture.
On March 4, the Tricolor de Caxias will take to the avenue with the theme “Pororocas Parawaras, As Águas dos Meus Encantos nas Contas dos Curimbós”. Created by carnival designers Gabriel Haddad and Leonardo Bora, in collaboration with guest researcher Rafa Bqueer, the theme dives into the Amazonian waters, embarking on a mystical journey that intertwines palaces, indigenous rituals, incense, igarapés, spiritual enchantments, and the sacred grounds of Tambor de Mina. All of this will be infused with the fragrance of herbs and guided by the rhythms and lyrics of Carimbó.
Grande Rio will be the third school to parade on Carnival Tuesday.
