Império Serrano anuncia Vitor Cunha como intérprete oficial para o Carnaval 2026

Filho de Carlinhos da Paz, Vitor volta ao microfone principal após 15 anos, reforçando a política de valorização das raízes imperianas
Seguindo seu compromisso de valorizar talentos com raízes na escola, o Império Serrano anunciou o novo intérprete oficial para o Carnaval 2026 nesta sexta-feira (11). Velho conhecido da comunidade, Vitor Cunha reassume o microfone principal do Reizinho de Madureira, cargo que ocupou em 2011 ao lado de Carlinhos da Paz, seu pai. Ele atuava no Departamento Musical da escola e foi promovido após a saída de Kleber Simpatia.
Imperiano de berço, Vitor chegou à agremiação em 1992, integrando as torcidas durante as disputas de samba-enredo. Em 1998, começou a defender as obras concorrentes no time de canto de Carlinhos da Paz. Sua trajetória no Departamento Musical teve início para o desfile de 2003, a convite do então intérprete Wantuir, permanecendo até 2008. Em 2011, voltou como intérprete oficial, dividindo a função com o pai. Ele comentou sobre essa nova fase no Reizinho de Madureira:
– Essa é uma oportunidade que eu espero há mais de 20 anos. Estar à frente do carro de som do Império Serrano vai além de ser apenas o intérprete da escola. É carregar o nome do nosso pavilhão, é representar a história, a essência, a resistência e todo o amor que desenvolvi, de forma inexplicável, por essa comunidade que me conhece desde menino – declarou Vitor Cunha, emocionado com o retorno.
Além da chegada de Vitor, o Império Serrano segue firme na política de valorização da sua raiz. Para 2026, a escola promoveu o mestre de bateria Felipe Santos e a porta-bandeira Maura Luiza, além de confirmar o retorno do mestre-sala Matheus Machado.

Son of Carlinhos da Paz, Vitor returns to the lead microphone after 15 years, reinforcing the school’s commitment to honoring its roots.
Continuing its commitment to valuing talents with deep ties to the school, Império Serrano announced this Friday (April 11) that Vitor Cunha will be its new official singer for Carnival 2026. A familiar face in the community, Vitor returns to the lead microphone of the “Little King of Madureira,” a role he last held in 2011 alongside his father, Carlinhos da Paz. Previously part of the school’s Musical Department, Vitor was promoted following the departure of Kleber Simpatia.
A lifelong Imperiano, Vitor joined the school in 1992, cheering in the stands during samba-enredo contests. In 1998, he began performing as part of his father’s singing team, defending samba entries. His journey in the Musical Department officially began in preparation for the 2003 parade, invited by then-lead singer Wantuir, and he remained until 2008. In 2011, he returned as an official interpreter, sharing the role with his father.
He spoke emotionally about this new phase at the school:
“This is an opportunity I’ve been waiting for over 20 years. Leading the sound truck for Império Serrano is more than just being the school’s singer. It means carrying our flag’s name, representing the history, the essence, the resistance, and all the inexplicable love I’ve developed for this community that has known me since I was a child,” said Vitor Cunha.
In addition to welcoming Vitor, Império Serrano continues its strong policy of honoring its roots. For 2026, the school has promoted Felipe Santos to lead the drum section, Maura Luiza as the flag bearer, and confirmed the return of master of ceremonies Matheus Machado.
