Unidos de Padre Miguel anuncia enredo com força ancestral e exalta Clara Camarão no Carnaval 2026

Com Kunhã-Eté: O Sopro Sagrado da Jurema, a escola leva à Sapucaí a história da guerreira indígena que se tornou símbolo de coragem, liderança e resistência feminina no Brasil colonial.
A Unidos de Padre Miguel revelou na noite desta quarta-feira (30), o enredo que levará à Marquês de Sapucaí no Carnaval 2026. Com uma proposta marcada por força e ancestralidade, o Boi Vermelho da Zona Oeste contará a história de Clara Camarão, guerreira indígena potiguara que enfrentou a invasão holandesa no Brasil colonial.
Intitulado “Kunhã-Eté: O Sopro Sagrado da Jurema”, o enredo é assinado pelo carnavalesco Lucas Milato e pelos enredistas Clark Mangabeira e Victor Marques, e destaca o protagonismo de uma mulher que uniu bravura, espiritualidade e identidade indígena em plena resistência do século XVII.
Batizada por jesuítas, Clara recebeu o nome cristão e o sobrenome do marido, o também guerreiro indígena Antônio Felipe Camarão — Poti, em tupi. Juntos, participaram de combates decisivos como a Batalha de Tejucupapo (1646) e a Primeira Batalha dos Guararapes (1648), tornando-se símbolos da luta contra o colonizador.
“Clara Camarão representa a força da mulher brasileira, da mulher indígena, que defende seu povo, sua terra e sua identidade. É um enredo que exalta a nossa brasilidade e valoriza figuras apagadas pela história oficial. Temos orgulho de levar essa narrativa potente para a Sapucaí”, afirma a presidente da escola, Lara Mara.
A trajetória da heroína também se conecta à espiritualidade dos povos originários, especialmente às tradições do Toré e da Jurema, manifestações de fé e resistência que seguem vivas no Nordeste indígena.
Em breve, a escola divulgará a data da entrega da sinopse e o calendário oficial da disputa de samba-enredo.

WithKunhã-Eté: The Sacred Breath of Jurema, the samba school brings to Sapucaí the story of the Indigenous warrior who became a symbol of courage, leadership, and female resistance in colonial Brazil.
Unidos de Padre Miguel revealed on the evening of Wednesday (30th) the theme it will present on Marquês de Sapucaí for Carnival 2026. With a proposal marked by strength and ancestry, the “Red Bull” from Rio’s West Zone will tell the story of Clara Camarão, a Potiguara Indigenous warrior who stood against the Dutch invasion during colonial times in Brazil.
Entitled “Kunhã-Eté: The Sacred Breath of Jurema,” the theme is created by carnival designer Lucas Milato and writers Clark Mangabeira and Victor Marques. It highlights the leadership of a woman who embodied bravery, spirituality, and Indigenous identity during 17th-century resistance.
Baptized by Jesuits, Clara received a Christian name and the surname of her husband, fellow Indigenous warrior Antônio Felipe Camarão — Poti, in Tupi. Together, they fought in decisive battles such as the Battle of Tejucupapo (1646) and the First Battle of Guararapes (1648), becoming symbols of the fight against colonial oppressors.
“Clara Camarão represents the strength of Brazilian women, of Indigenous women, who defend their people, their land, and their identity. This theme exalts our Brazilian spirit and honors figures erased by official history. We are proud to bring this powerful narrative to Sapucaí,” says school president Lara Mara.
The heroine’s journey also connects with the spirituality of Indigenous peoples, especially the traditions of Toré and Jurema—manifestations of faith and resistance that remain alive in the Indigenous communities of the Northeast.
The school will soon announce the date for the release of the synopsis and the official calendar for the samba-enredo competition.
