Multidão lota Copacabana para show histórico de Lady Gaga
Copacabana viveu uma noite inesquecível neste sábado (03), com um megashow gratuito de Lady Gaga que reuniu uma verdadeira multidão na praia. Com um palco monumental montado em frente ao mar, a estrela pop transformou a orla em uma pista de dança a céu aberto.
Estima-se que mais de 1,5 milhão de pessoas tenham se reunido na areia, no calçadão e nas ruas próximas para assistir à apresentação. O evento, que começou ao pôr do sol, contou com uma produção digna de festival internacional, com luzes, efeitos especiais e hits de todas as fases da carreira da artista.
Lady Gaga surgiu no palco por volta das 21h30, ovacionada por fãs que vieram de várias partes do Brasil e até de outros países da América Latina. A cantora abriu o show com “Bad Romance”, levando o público ao delírio.
Entre um sucesso e outro, Gaga se comunicou com o público em português: “Brasil, eu te amo! Essa energia é inacreditável!”, disse a artista, emocionada. Ela também homenageou a cultura brasileira com um breve trecho de “Garota de Ipanema”, tocado ao piano.
A segurança foi reforçada com efetivo ampliado da Polícia Militar e apoio da Guarda Municipal. Apesar do grande número de pessoas, o clima foi de paz e celebração.
Com esse espetáculo histórico, Lady Gaga entra para a galeria de artistas internacionais que marcaram Copacabana com shows icônicos, como Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart e Madonna.
“Foi um sonho ver a Gaga de tão perto e de graça. Nunca vou esquecer essa noite!”, disse a estudante Mariana Silva, de Belo Horizonte.

Copacabana experienced an unforgettable night this Saturday (03), with a free mega-show by Lady Gaga that drew a massive crowd to the beach. With a monumental stage set up by the sea, the pop star turned the shoreline into an open-air dance floor.
It is estimated that more than 1.5 million people gathered on the sand, the boardwalk, and nearby streets to watch the performance. The event, which began at sunset, featured production worthy of an international festival, with lights, special effects, and hits from all stages of the artist’s career.
Lady Gaga appeared on stage around 9:30 PM, greeted with roaring applause by fans who came from all over Brazil and even from other Latin American countries. She opened the show with “Bad Romance,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Between hits, Gaga spoke to the audience in Portuguese: “Brasil, eu te amo! Essa energia é inacreditável!” (“Brazil, I love you! This energy is unbelievable!”), said the artist, visibly moved. She also paid tribute to Brazilian culture by playing a brief excerpt of “The Girl from Ipanema” on the piano.
Security was reinforced with an increased presence from the Military Police and support from the Municipal Guard. Despite the huge number of people, the atmosphere was peaceful and celebratory.
With this historic performance, Lady Gaga joins the ranks of international artists who have made their mark on Copacabana with iconic shows, such as the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, and Madonna.
“It was a dream to see Gaga up close and for free. I’ll never forget this night!” said Mariana Silva, a student from Belo Horizonte.
