Lady Gaga: Governo do Estado amplia Segurança Presente em Copacabana e público aprova

Ação tem reforço de agentes e viaturas no patrulhamento ostensivo de proximidade para moradores e quem vai participar da festa

O Governo do Rio tem um amplo esquema de segurança em Copacabana neste sábado (03/05), para o aguardado show da cantora Lady Gaga. O programa Segurança Presente, que já atua de forma permanente na região, está com o efetivo ampliado especialmente para o espetáculo, com 100 policiais militares no patrulhamento ostensivo de proximidade.

_ É um dos maiores eventos do ano, que movimenta o turismo, a economia e divulga a imagem positiva do Rio. O Segurança Presente tem uma atuação essencial porque já atua no bairro. O Governo do Estado está trabalhando muito para que moradores e turistas que vão se divertir nessa grande festa se sintam seguros em Copacabana _ afirma o governador Cláudio Castro.

Aos 89 anos e há 50 morando em Copacabana, a aposentada Camila Cattan ficou satisfeita ao encontrar os agentes do Segurança Presente ao fazer seu passeio pela orla neste sábado.

  • Quis ver a movimentação e achei tudo ótimo! O povo vai se divertir. Já está muito cheio, mas, eu nunca vi tanto policial, nem no Réveillon. Tem policiamento pra tudo que é lado. Eu, como moradora, estou muito satisfeita pelo que eu estou vendo aqui. Pra mim, nota 10 – destaca Camila.

Outra moradora há décadas do bairro, Yolanda Augusto, de 91 anos, também aproveitou o sol da manhã para passear pelo calçadão.

  • É a alegria do povo! Muita gente não pode ir ao exterior, ela vem aqui, vamos aproveitar. O policiamento está maravilhoso, tudo bem organizado – acrescentou Yolanda.

O paulista Adrian Gonçalves chegou em Copacabana no dia 1° e ficou surpreso com o número de policiais atuantes para o show de Lady Gaga.

  • Ontem a gente conseguiu ver um pouquinho do ensaio dela. Hoje estamos aqui de novo. Tem vários pontos de polícia pela praia. Tá bastante movimentado, mas tem bastante policiamento também. Está todo mundo muito animado! Eu acho que vai ser incrível – completa o fã da popstar.

Entre 8h e 17h, cerca de 60 agentes estarão em ação, atuando a pé e em viaturas nas principais vias do bairro. A partir das 17h, o efetivo completo — 100 policiais — estará mobilizado e distribuído estrategicamente por toda Copacabana, garantindo cobertura total durante a movimentação do público.

Operation includes additional agents and vehicles for active community patrols to ensure safety for residents and concertgoers

The Rio de Janeiro State Government has implemented an extensive security plan in Copacabana this Saturday (May 3rd), for the highly anticipated Lady Gaga concert. The “Segurança Presente” program, which already operates permanently in the area, has increased its personnel specifically for the event, with 100 military police officers conducting community-oriented patrols.

“This is one of the biggest events of the year, boosting tourism, the economy, and promoting Rio’s positive image. ‘Segurança Presente’ plays a key role as it already operates in the neighborhood. The State Government is working hard so that residents and tourists enjoying this grand celebration feel safe in Copacabana,” said Governor Cláudio Castro.

Camila Cattan, 89 years old and a Copacabana resident for 50 years, was pleased to see “Segurança Presente” agents while walking along the beachfront this Saturday.

“I wanted to see the activity and thought everything was great! People are going to have fun. It’s already very crowded, but I’ve never seen so many police officers, not even during New Year’s. There’s policing everywhere. As a resident, I’m very satisfied with what I’m seeing here. For me, it’s a 10,” Camila highlighted.

Another long-time resident, Yolanda Augusto, 91, also took advantage of the morning sun to stroll along the promenade.

“It’s the people’s joy! Many can’t travel abroad, she came here, let’s enjoy it. The policing is wonderful, everything well organized,” added Yolanda.

Adrian Gonçalves, from São Paulo, arrived in Copacabana on May 1st and was surprised by the number of police officers deployed for the Lady Gaga show.

“Yesterday we caught a glimpse of her rehearsal. Today we’re back again. There are police stations all along the beach. It’s really busy, but there’s a strong police presence too. Everyone’s very excited! I think it’s going to be amazing,” said the pop star’s fan.

Between 8 AM and 5 PM, about 60 agents are on duty, patrolling on foot and in vehicles along the main streets of the neighborhood. Starting at 5 PM, the full force of 100 officers will be mobilized and strategically positioned throughout Copacabana, ensuring full coverage during the influx of the public.
