A Família Estaciana se reuniu com seus Beneméritos, Sócios, Conselheiros e Diretores da Agremiação e votou, por aclamação, pela continuidade de mais três anos da atual administração.
O Presidente Edson Marinho e o Vice-Presidente Dr. Jorge Xavier seguem no comando da número 1 do Brasil.
Edson Marinho assumiu a escola mantendo a tradição e resgatando as origens, com um chão forte e desfiles emocionantes, reacendendo a alegria dos Estacianos com os excelentes resultados nos últimos carnavais — 3º lugar em 2024 e Vice-Campeã da Série Ouro em 2025.

ELECTION OF THE SAMBA SCHOOL GRES ESTÁCIO DE SÁ
As the popular saying goes: “Don’t change a winning team.” The Estácio family gathered with its Honorary Members, Associates, Council Members, and Directors of the Association and voted, by acclamation, for the continuation of the current administration for another three years. President Edson Marinho and Vice President Dr. Jorge Xavier will remain at the helm of Brazil’s number one samba school.
Edson Marinho took charge of the school while preserving its tradition and reconnecting with its roots, bringing strength to the parade and delivering thrilling performances that reignited the pride of the Estácio community — with 3rd place in 2024 and Runner-up in the Série Ouro in 2025.
“I thank everyone who trusts and believes in our work. Together, we’ll keep going stronger in pursuit of the long-dreamed-of championship. The community will come down from the Morro de São Carlos to reclaim its place in the Special Group.” — Edson Marinho
