Governador Cláudio Castro premia policiais do Bope por apreensão de fuzis
Bônus de R$ 5 mil por fuzil será pago em junho para os agentes premiados da tropa de elite da PM
Um grupo de 26 policiais do Batalhão de Operações Especiais (Bope) da Polícia Militar vai receber no salário de maio, pago em junho, a bonificação – criada por decreto do governador Cláudio Castro – que premia policiais civis e militares responsáveis pela apreensão de fuzis quando estiverem em serviço ou durante a folga remunerada, caso do Regime Adicional de Serviço (RAS) e o Programa de Integração na Segurança (Proeis). O decreto instituiu o pagamento do bônus de R$ 5 mil por cada fuzil retirado de circulação – o valor deverá ser dividido pela equipe, caso a apreensão tenha sido feita por mais de um agente.
– Criei esse bônus não apenas como uma forma de estímulo aos policiais, o que já é muito importante, mas também como uma ação estratégica dentro do plano de redução da letalidade policial. No ano passado, as forças estaduais de segurança apreenderam 732 fuzis; este ano, somente a Polícia Militar já apreendeu 264 – disse o governador Cláudio Castro, destacando a necessidade de uma mudança na legislação com penas mais duras para bandidos pegos portando fuzis
Da apreensão até o pagamento do bônus, que deve ser requerido pelo agente que apreendeu o fuzil, há uma série de protocolos determinados pelo decreto a serem seguidos, como por exemplo, o laudo pericial da arma, feito pelo Departamento Geral de Polícia Técnico-Científica da Polícia Civil que deverá ser juntado ao procedimento policial que originou a apreensão do fuzil.
O decreto também estabelece que o policial militar ou civil, quando afastado disciplinarmente do exercício regular de suas funções, fica impedido de ser contemplado com a premiação enquanto perdurar seu afastamento.

R$5,000 bonus per rifle to be paid in June to elite police unit officers
A group of 26 officers from the Special Operations Battalion (BOPE) of the Military Police will receive a bonus in their May salary, to be paid in June. The reward—created by a decree issued by Governor Cláudio Castro—grants bonuses to civil and military police officers who seize rifles while on duty or during paid off-duty assignments, such as the Additional Service Regime (RAS) and the Security Integration Program (Proeis).
The decree establishes a R$5,000 bonus for each rifle taken out of circulation. If the seizure involves more than one officer, the bonus is to be divided among the team.
“I created this bonus not only as an incentive for the officers—which is already very important—but also as a strategic action within the broader plan to reduce police lethality. Last year, state security forces seized 732 rifles. This year alone, the Military Police has already seized 264,” said Governor Cláudio Castro, stressing the need for changes in legislation to impose harsher penalties on criminals caught carrying rifles.
From the time of seizure to the payment of the bonus—which must be requested by the officer responsible for the seizure—a number of protocols outlined in the decree must be followed. These include a forensic report on the weapon, carried out by the Civil Police’s General Department of Forensic Science, which must be attached to the official police procedure that led to the seizure.
The decree also states that any police officer—military or civil—who is under disciplinary suspension from duty is ineligible to receive the bonus while the suspension is in effect.
